Why Dharamsala for your yoga

Dharamshala is a city in Northern India, in beautiful state of mountains, waterfalls and amazing forests at the foothills of the Himalayas – Himachal Pradesh. Word Dharamshala is a compound of dharma and shālā, so an approximate translation into English would be ‘spiritual dwelling’ or, more loosely ‘sanctuary’. Dharamshala is the centre of the Tibetan exile world in India

Stay closer to The Himalayas comfortably, while you learn yoga.

Welcome to Dharamsala!
We are happy to invite you to our beautiful location in the Himalayas - the place where Indian and Tibetan Cultures co-exist together in the harmony, and create a very special, peaceful and inspiring environment. Our school is located in the Dharamkot Village, on the way from McLeod Ganji (the residency of His Holiness Dalai Lama) to Triund.
Yoga in the Himalayas
We have 2 beautiful yoga halls here - the lower one is dedicated mostly to our 200 Yoga Teacher Training Courses, while the upper one serves to students of advanced courses - 300 YTTC, Yin Yoga TTC, Prenatal & Kids Yoga TTC. Both places are hidden from the touristic crowd of McLeod Ganji, yet very close to the market and restaurants around. It takes a few minutes to walk around and reach either beautiful waterfalls, or commercial market.
Food.
Everything is prepared especially for our Yoga students, so that you can easily enjoy your unforgettable time in the Himalayas and focus on the training. We serve you 3 vegetarian meals per day during studying time. We prepared a healthy and yogic selection of food based on traditional Indian thali, warming soups and light fruits and vegetables.
Stay
The accommodation is modest, but very cosy and nice. We stay together in a few local guesthouses, so you can have an authentic experience of being in traditional part of India, and live with the local community.
Local Culture.
During the weekends you can go for a beautiful trekking in Nature, or visit Tibetan Temples and Institutes around. There are plenty of amazing things to see here, and the Himalayan Forrest is just magnificent!
